Preventive Conservation
Caring for collections extends beyond interventive treatment. The summaries below highlight some of my preventive conservation skills.
Rehousing
I have created custom storage housings for complex objects such as The Seven Crones and Bay State Decorative Colorguide (pictured above). I also worked to rehouse the 3D objects in the William Way LGBTQ Community Center's art collection. Read more here.
Creating & Executing
a Collections Survey
At the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, I developed and conducted a conditions survey of 28 large scale inkjet transfer works. Read more here.

Gallery Maintenance
At the Philadelphia Museum of Art, I performed routine maintenance of Strange Fruit (Zoe Leonard, 1992-97), an installation consisting of 295 dried fruit peels. The installation was monitored weekly for pest activity and dusted.

Artwork installation and deinstallation
At the Philadelphia Museum of Art, I assisted with the installation and deinstallation of artworks such as Marquetry Panel.

Light Monitoring
At the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, we used Microfade Testing (MFT) to evaluate the light sensitivities of several groups of pigment- and dye-based inkjet transfer works. Read more here.
